Doors open day

Vocational school pod Sokolice (SOŠ) has a common past with the company TRENS SK since the school was established in 1952.
 

SOŠ was established to produce future workers for engineering operations throughout Slovakia, but primarily for the local machine tools producer, TOS Trenčín (now TRENS SK, a.s.).

The connection between the school and the TRENS SK company creates a symbiosis.
1. They always have current trends in the industry.
2. Hundreds of educated specialists.

The changes that the SOŠ has to go through since its inception can be best seen with your own eyes on September 29th of 2022, during the Door Open Day at Pod Sokolicami 14, in Trenčín.
 

Available will be PC 3D modeling, 3D scanner, 3D printing, operative and control parts of the pneumatic elements, CO2 laser, car diagnostics, work on conventional and CNC machine tools, model railway, history of TRENS SK, and achievements of all school students.
Classic and modern machinery will be both available in the SOŠ workshops, which will show the development in the field of the engineering industry. Many of the school's machine tools come from the former TOS (TRENS) Trenčín plant.

We cordially invite you to an excursion to the TRENS SK production premises. Where you have the opportunity to see how the company has developed over the 85 years of its activity. We are hoping this will be interesting for many of you.
The visitors will take a look into the production process of individual machines.
